The C1 Innovation Lab's main purpose is to reimagine how employers and health plans work together to develop forward-thinking solutions that lower health care costs while improving health outcomes.
We opened the Cyber Fusion Center (CFC) within the C1 Innovation Lab to ensure the safety and security of our members’ data as we innovate. Our team of analysts at CFC is a part of our larger Cyber Defense & Investigations team that provides a mechanism for security incident detection, prevention, and resolution, with the goals of limiting business disruptions and reducing exposure to cyber-attacks. The CFC operates 24/7 year-round, with resources permanently located on-site at the C1 Innovation Lab.
Customer advocates work side-by-side with medical and behavioral health professionals onsite in customer pods, serving members from our largest national employer accounts. Each operational performance team or "pod" focuses on one client, or a small group of clients, with similar challenges and profiles.
Our dedicated design team is composed of researchers, data scientists and designers who use human-centered design methods to gather research and insights to create meaningful solutions that will resonate with employee populations. Through design sprints, ethnographic-style fieldwork, and live ideation sessions, the design team at the C1 Innovation Lab accelerates the pace of customer-first innovation, with a focus on the development of novel solutions for national employers.
With flexibility and mobility in mind, the C1 Innovation Lab offers collaboration space to clients, providers, consultants and academic centers to enter into partnerships. Collaboration between the design, care management and customer service teams adds value for our customers, creating a shared view from the member and employer perspective.
